Boise to Burbank

Ryan's parents came out to visit us for a few days. Too bad it rained a lot while they were here, but when it finally dried out, we hit a few of the L.A. tourist spots.

We went to Hollywood Blvd.

Compared shoe and hand sizes with the stars at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

Walked down the Hollywood Walk of Fame and passed Madame Tussaud's Hollywood Wax Museum.

Then we went to the Santa Monica Pier.

Also known as the end of Route 66.

Where Bruce and Ryan walked into the ocean - freezing!

After cruising down Pacific Highway to Malibu to have a lovely seafood dinner (which Bruce and I were craving), we found that the restaurant was closed for their holiday party. So back we went to Santa Monica Pier for great lobster at the perfectly named Lobster (Note: the chicken is not so great, but what do you expect from a place that is named Lobster?)

We ended the evening with a tour of the lights at the Los Angeles Temple.

It was wonderful to have Ryan's parents come visit us and see the sites.
